About me

I am currently mainly interested in developing an epistemological framework around the idea that knowledge is a social kind. Roughly, the idea is that we develop a social standard of evaluating information that governs assertion. The development if this standard can, I think, be described using ideas from functionalist epistemology derived from Edward Craig. I have also done some work on the philosophical development of J.L. Mackie, and I am generally interested in the philosophy of religion.

In May 2022, I defended my Ph.D. thesis in philosophy at Johns Hopkins. For the 2022/23 academic year, I will be a Visiting Assistant Professor at Ashoka University.
